THERMAL BOARDING

Thermal Boarding

AN EXTRA LAYER OF COMFORT

Thermal board can be applied to the walls to provide insulation and a warmer wall surface. This will reduce heat flow. Not only does insulation conduct heat slowly, but it also prevents problems resulting from condensation.

Thermal insulation boards are made from various thermal insulating materials. They are placed in buildings where heat loss causes unnecessary costs.

Thermal insulation boards are available in various sizes and can be cut to fit a certain space. They are laid, glued or fixed into position with the necessary fixings, such as nails or screws. Insulation boards are often made using rigid insulating foam with a thin sheet of reflecting foil fixed to one or both sides.

The roof, the floor and the exterior walls of a building usually require thermal boards. They are typically fixed into the building during construction, but are usually not fitted into floors or roofs, and can be applied later in development if so desired.
