Condensation dampness is a condition that affects many homes and has probably become the major cause of ‘environmental’ dampness within a property. Condensation is particularly common in homes which are poorly heated and poorly insulated and usually gets worse in the colder winter months i.e. ‘the condensation season’.

Dri-ECO HCS Positive Input Ventilation Unit
The Dri-Eco-Heat-HCS offers a ventilation solution for the whole property, using the tried and tested Positive Input Ventilation (PIV) principle, where fresh, filtered air is introduced into the home at a continuous rate, encouraging movement of air from inside to outside.
The unit is installed in the loft space with the outlet protruding through the landing/stairwell ceiling.
The unit incorporates an integral heater which can be set to provide additional heating of the incoming air if required e.g during very cold weather. The heater can be used to distribute filtered warm air throughout the property.

Flatmaster 2000 Positive Input Ventilation Unit
A Flatmaster 2000 is a low energy positive input ventilation unit. This type of unit draws in fresh air from outside which is then filtered, dried and cleaned and circulated in the rooms of the property creating a circulation of air movement.
There will be some cable conduit visible, for connecting to a suitable electric power supply.
A flatmaster is most commonly used in flats and bungalows where there is only one floor in a property.
