Damp and Timber Surveyor

QUALIFIED SURVEYOR

This is a full-time Surveyor role working from our office based in Ipswich. The Surveyor will be responsible for examining and surveying timber, diagnosing dampness in buildings, and providing advice on suitable treatments for preservation within properties across East Anglia. The surveyor will also be responsible for liaising with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders, as well as producing accurate and detailed reports

Requirements or Desired Skills

  • Minimum qualification of C.S.T.D.B or equivalent
  • Experience in surveying, diagnosing dampness in buildings, and/or preserving timber
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to produce accurate and detailed written and verbal reports
  • Proficiency in using relevant surveying equipment and software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations

Training

If required, we would be happy to provide adequate training to acquire further qualifications, such as C.S.S.W. Training will be carried out through the Property Care Association.
